Students at Cline Vineyards’ Green String Farm in Petaluma, California are learning about the Green String Method; sustainable agricultural practices like biodiversity, biological cycles and soil activity. The Green String Method of farming was developed by Cline founder Fred Cline and his farming buddy Bobby Cannard.
Farmhouse Wines were inspired by this farm and named after the schoolhouse at the farm. Farmhouse White is a unique blend of six different grape varietals including Palomino, Muscat Canelli, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier and Riesling.
In the mouth, the wine is all about juicy pear, ripe melon, and tropical fruit. It’s a very refreshing wine that pairs fabulously with shellfish, salads and Asian fare.
